【SINOTRUK GROUP】Shandong Heavy Industry Group shines at Indonesia Mining Exhibition

From 17 to 19 September, the 2025 Indonesia International Construction and Mining Machinery Exhibition commenced in grand style at the Jakarta International Expo Centre.
As a leading enterprise in China's construction machinery industry pursuing its ‘going global’ strategy, Shandong Heavy Industry Group adopted the theme ‘Empowering Equipment with Technology, Achieving Excellence’, positioning the mining market as a strategic priority. Its five major mining equipment manufacturers—Shantui, Lovol Heavy Industry, Weichai, Sinotruk, and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck—showcased comprehensive mining equipment and integrated solutions at the exhibition. This demonstrated the brand values of ‘green, efficient, intelligent, and economical’ to the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets, injecting Chinese strength into global mining industry upgrades. Attending the event were Wang Zhijian, General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group; Deputy General Managers Zhang Gengsheng and Ma Changhai; alongside overseas business and Southeast Asian client representatives from various subsidiaries.
During the centralised delivery ceremony, a batch of advanced equipment—including diesel-powered vehicles, construction machinery, and mining vehicles—was formally handed over to key Indonesian clients. These assets will enhance operational efficiency and bolster the competitiveness of their products within Indonesia's mining sector.
During the strategic client signing ceremony, the Group concluded new cooperation agreements with several major Indonesian enterprises in areas including product procurement, technical collaboration, and localised services, further consolidating and deepening their strategic partnership.
During the event, Shandong Heavy Industry Group unveiled its new integrated mining product range. These core offerings have undergone extensive optimisation to meet the specific demands of the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets. The Group will focus on green technology, high-end equipment, and smart mining solutions, jointly exploring new models for more efficient, intelligent, clean, and safe mining development. This collaboration aims to promote Indonesia's sustainable economic, environmental, and social progress.
Through immersive exhibits, new product launches, and global partner dialogues, the exhibition showcased the Group's extensive portfolio of cutting-edge products, encompassing powertrains, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, and tractor units. Weichai powertrains, renowned for their faster response times and robust power delivery, emerged as a vital driving force for high-horsepower machinery. Shantui and Lovol Heavy Industry showcased the SE1500LCW and FR2000F hundred-tonne mining excavators, powered by excavator powertrains. Paired with mining trucks and dump trucks from Sinotruk and Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, these models have become undisputed leaders in the high-horsepower mining loading sector. They garnered high praise from on-site partners, who expressed strong confidence in future collaboration.
Moving forward, Shandong Heavy Industry Group will intensify its investment in the Indonesian market, accelerate localisation efforts, enhance product R&D and service standards, and contribute to the efficient and green development of Indonesia's mining sector. This commitment aims to achieve further excellence within the global mining equipment industry.
