A delegation of permanent secretaries or high-level representatives from the foreign ministries of nine Caribbean countries visited Shandong Heavy Industry Group for an inspection tour. The Caribbean countries are located in Central America. The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was established in 1994, comprising countries and islands surrounding the Caribbean Sea. It has 37 member states, covering a total area of over 5 million square kilometers (including maritime areas) and a population of approximately 44 million. The visiting countries include nine Caribbean nations with diplomatic relations: Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago.
